Katrin Wiehle is a Germany based illustrator, who likes tea, pencils and foxes. A Fulbright scholarship brought her to the US where she studied illustration at the Savannah College of Art and Design (Atlanta). Her first children’s book Professor Pfeffers tierisches Abenteuer was published in 2010 by Beltz&Gelberg. Her new (even more awesome…) book Was macht die Katze in der Nacht will be released at the beginning of 2012. When she is not drawing she spends her time crafting, travelling and discovering the world.

Professor Pfeffers tierisches Abenteuer has been selected as one of the most beautiful german books in 2010 by Stiftung Buchkunst and won the junior award of the Deutsche Akademie für Kinder und Jugendliteratur 2011.
